….I won’t miss after Tuesday, when we arrive in Santiago.
I don’t think anyone’s back is made to carry a 7-8kg backpack, everyday for the best part of 3.5 weeks. Mine isn’t anyway. In the last few days, it has been a bit of a pain (literally!) so I’ll just make it I think, with the help of a few Nurofen. It’ll be so nice to just walk out the door with just a handbag again…Yes, this is my very unattractive foot, made more unattractive by the reams of tape I need to apply every morning, in preparation for battle. Both feet take, in total, about 30 minutes, so I will certainly not miss that! BUT I haven’t had a blister since the initial massive one, so the time taken has not been in vain…..
