Ok. Day two of the blog and only 3 sleeps to go before ‘Noumea, here we come’.  No bags packed yet, but I do have money, at least. Today I walked across to the city and organised my South Pacific francs. That process took quite a while, in fact I probably could have printed my own in the time it took, but on the upside, the girl who served me was really very friendly. (there’s a glass half full attitude for you)   And which bank was it, did you ask? There’s your clue, right there.                      The notes are  really pretty  though, with lots of birds,  flowers, palm trees  and even their Cultural Center,  so it’s almost too pretty to spend. Almost, but not quite…
