Well, our long awaited holiday starts tomorrow and I did wonder whether I should just cancel the flight, launch a boat from our front doorstep and sail to France instead! I feel a bit like Noah must have, building his ark back in the day, since the weather has been crazy today and I must admit to thinking that there may  have been a need for some flight rescheduling.  So far, there’s no bad news from the airlines though and fortunately, the storm seems to have passed, so fingers crossed.

Our bags are all packed, with just the last bits and pieces to be done so we’re (finally) pretty organised I think. Next stop, Paris!
