I really didn’t anticipate posting anything for a another few days, but I’ve been up since 4am with eyes wide open and ready for our 9am train journey to Bruges since 5am, so I’ve got plenty of time on my hands….
Ridiculous, I know.
It’s that nasty little demon ‘jet lag’ causing the problem. It doesn’t usually attack me until I’m safely at home, but no, this time I’ve been seeing a lot more of France, Β at all hours of the day AND night….
I’ve been resisting so far, but no more. I’ve decided to pull out the big guns tonight and resort to drugs Β (Merci beaucoup, Dr Tran….).
A girl needs her beauty sleep after all
Yawn…
Karen, keep up the good work, I am getting very jealous! Enjoy and keep the postcards coming π

Hi Helena, we are having a brilliant time and, now that Jeff’s sore foot is better, it will only improve, if that’s possible. I don’t feel like we’ve missed anything at all and he’s been a real trouper about it (unusual, for a man…!). We’ve only been away for a week, but it feels like 3 because we’ve been doing and seeing so much. It’s official, I love holidays!!! xxx

If you need drugs I may be able to help thru my network of Doctors and Pharmacies that I use to obtain drugs, even ones that I don’t really need. (If you don’t ask, you don’t get.) It is amazing how it works, I can get any number of scripts filled for the same drug on the same day! That reminds me, must get some more Oxycontin and Valium. Anyway, if you need anything let me know. Be careful though, taking drugs can be a real downer… that is until you take an upper. π Danny

Looking forward to reading about Brugges … I went there Yeats ago but for some reason (old age!!!!) have only sketchy memories of it other than how beautiful it was ! Hope the jetlag has settled down.

Honestly Wendy, Bruges was simply gorgeous. It’s only little, so even with Jeff’s sore foot, we managed to see most of it, if not all (just a bit more slowly!). Would love to come back again in Winter time. I know it would be freezing, but it would suit the style of place that it is. And anyway, what a good excuse to find a pub with an open fire and kick back. How good would that be??? Jet lag is gone, thank goodness and I only had to resort to drugs on one night. Coming home will be the kicker, it’s always worse then…
